Revolution Strategy is a boutique, full-service marketing communications agency located in the heart of Saint John, New Brunswick’s creative and historic Uptown. Our agency also incubates start-ups that develop TV shows, like “Real Houses Of…”, and leading lifestyle brands and media companies like Civilized.
Revolution is looking for our Director of Brand and Marketing. This person will thrive on client satisfaction and will be known for going the extra mile. A natural creative, they’ll have an intuitive sense of their team and client needs.
The role will be based in our Saint John, New Brunswick office.
Some of the things you’ll do:
- Lead cross-functional project teams in the development and implementation of strategic marketing, brand and communications plans
- Oversee budgets, timelines and resources
- Work with a wide variety of clients across various industries (and time zones) – including but not limited to: primary market research, omnichannel media buys, brand building and brand activation campaigns, brand guidelines, communications materials, TV commercials, video production, content for all marketing needs (sales, website, social, etc.), proposals and pitches
- Act as main point of contact with clients and lead/co-lead client presentations and pitches
- Cultivate strong, genuine relationships with team members, clients, partners and vendors
- Analyze and help solve internal challenges (workflow, delays, etc.)
- Identify strategic opportunities for clients and help implement positive change
- Stay on top of trends and news in the cannabis space (Canada and US)
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Marketing or Communications OR equivalent experience
- 5+ years in supervisory role
- Display consistent strategic decisiveness in complex situations
- Outstanding project management skills
- A strong focus on team collaboration and success
- Excellent listening skills and open communication style
