Senior Marketing Communications Specialist

Revolution Strategy is a boutique, full-service marketing communications agency located in the heart of Saint John, New Brunswick’s creative and historic uptown. Our agency also incubates startups that develop TV shows (like Real Houses Of…) and leading-edge media companies (like Civilized), with our sister office in Los Angeles.

Revolution is looking for a Senior Marketing Communications Specialist who wants to fast-track his or her career by joining our team in Saint John.

You will take full ownership of multiple projects – researching, writing, thinking and leading all project deliverables from discovery and design to quality assurance and launch. We are a flat organization. You will be client-facing with a lot of autonomy and accountability.

Delivering exceptional client service is table stakes – you will anticipate needs, be responsive and add consultative value to whatever deliverable you touch. Exceptional communications, organizational and budgeting skills are absolutely required to be successful in this role.

Some of the things you’ll do include:

  • Researching, developing and implementing fully integrated marketing and communications campaigns;
  • Providing public relations counsel, writing PR materials, and leading PR activities for clients;
  • Defining, communicating and managing the scope of projects.
  • Creating and maintaining project schedules;
  • Assisting in the development of pitch documents and presentations;
  • Liaising with clients as well as our internal account management, creative and digital teams to deliver exceptional work;
  • Editing and proofing; and
  • Keeping projects on time and on budget.


  • 5 - 7 years’ experience working in a fast-paced marketing communications environment
  • Undergraduate degree in public relations, marketing, communications or journalism
  • Great storyteller and strong writer
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects
  • Knowledge of project management principles and techniques would be an asset
  • A passion for digital media
  • Bilingualism would be highly valued, but is not a requirement
