Barb brings to Revolution professional experience in public affairs and communications with the City of Moncton and Horizon Health Network, in addition to a background in publishing.
After graduating from Mount Allison University with a bachelor of arts in English and creative writing, Barb went on to receive her certificate with honours in journalism (print and broadcast) from Humber College.
Early in her career, she worked as an editor for a publishing company in Vancouver, BC, where she honed her editing and writing skills. She has had numerous columns in local newspapers, played a key role in the startup of a health and wellness magazine, wrote hundreds of web pages and continues to contribute regular feature articles to national and international magazines.
Born and raised in Saint John, Barb lived in several provinces across Canada before happily returning to our port city in 2016.
In her spare time, Barb can be seen patrolling the slopes at Poley Mountain or sailing on the Saint John River… or down to the Caribbean. She’s always looking out for others and is decisive when the wind changes – let’s just say Barb was made for #agencylife. We’re also equally enamored by her love of looking for spelling errors in random publications.
